Integrate Golf o'Clock with Kisi

Golf o'Clock is a booking and venue management platform built for indoor golf simulator facilities. It handles bookings, memberships, dynamic pricing, access control, and reporting. Connect Golf o'Clock with Kisi to automatically manage door access based on active reservations — doors unlock only during confirmed booking windows, enabling unstaffed or hybrid facility operations.

info

This is a partner-built integration, maintained and supported by the partner.

Prerequisites

  • Kisi organization administrator rights
  • A Golf o'Clock account with admin access

Generate a Kisi API key

You need to have organization administrator or organization owner rights to create an API key. We recommend creating API keys from the organization owner's account, to avoid the API key becoming invalid when an organization admin loses their admin rights.

  1. Sign in to Kisi
  2. On the top right corner, click on your name and click on My Account
  3. Next, select the API tab and click on Add API Key
  4. Enter the name for the API key and your Kisi password and click Add
  5. Copy the API key shown on the screen and click Close

Set up the integration in Golf o'Clock

  1. Sign in to your Golf o'Clock manager account
  2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations
  3. Find Kisi and click Connect
  4. Enter your Kisi API key and click Save
  5. Configure your access window

For multi-lock setups (for example, a front door plus a simulator bay door), contact Golf o'Clock for a custom configuration.

How access works

  1. A user makes a booking in Golf o'Clock
  2. Once the booking is confirmed, an unlock option appears on their booking confirmation
  3. The user unlocks the assigned door during their booking window
  4. Access ends automatically when the booking window closes

Users unlock the door directly from their booking confirmation in Golf o'Clock — no Kisi app required.

Frequently asked questions

Does the door unlock automatically, or does the user trigger it?

The user triggers the unlock themselves from their booking confirmation in Golf o'Clock. The door does not unlock on its own at the booking start time.

How long does a user have access?

Only during their confirmed booking window. Once the window ends, the unlock option is no longer active and the door stays locked for that user.

What happens if a booking is canceled or rescheduled?

If a booking is canceled, the unlock option is removed and the user loses access for that slot. If a booking is rescheduled, access follows the new booking window.

What happens with a no-show?

The unlock option stays available for the duration of the original booking window regardless of whether the user shows up. It expires when the window closes.

Can the integration control more than one door?

Yes, but multi-lock setups — for example a front door plus a simulator bay door — require a custom configuration. Contact Golf o'Clock to set this up.

Can staff still unlock doors manually?

Yes. The integration manages booking-based access, but administrators can still unlock doors directly through Kisi.

Does this work for member bookings, or only one-off bookings?

It works for bookings made by both members and non-members. As long as the booking is confirmed, the unlock option is available during the booking window.
