Integrate bsport with Kisi

The bsport and Kisi integration enables automatic access control for fitness studios and gyms. Members can unlock doors through the bsport app with click-to-open functionality, providing 24/7 access based on their membership status and bookings.

info

This is a partner-built integration, maintained and supported by the partner.

Prerequisites

  • Kisi organization administrator rights
  • bsport account with account manager access

Generate a Kisi API key

You need to have organization administrator or organization owner rights to create an API key. We recommend creating API keys from the organization owner's account, to avoid the API key becoming invalid when an organization admin loses their admin rights.

  1. Sign in to Kisi
  2. On the top right corner, click on your name and click on My Account
  3. Next, select the API tab and click on Add API Key
  4. Enter your name, your Kisi password, and your verification code and click Add
  5. Copy the API key shown on the screen and click Close

Activate the integration

Once you have your Kisi API key, follow bsport's official guide to complete the integration setup.

How to activate Access Control auto entry

Configure access control in bsport

After the integration is activated, configure your passes and bookings to control member access. Follow bsport's configuration guide.

Set up Access Control

info

Auto entry in bsport is currently in beta testing. Contact your bsport account manager to participate in the beta program.

With auto entry, members who have any active membership or valid pass can unlock all doors at your facility through the app. If you need to control which doors different members can access, see manual entry.

Once configured, members can access your facility through the bsport app.

Troubleshooting

If members experience issues accessing doors:

  1. Verify their membership status and pass validity in the bsport back office
  2. Check that the specific pass has Grant studio access enabled
  3. Confirm they are within the geofencing radius (if applicable)
  4. Ensure the Kisi hardware is online and functioning
  5. Contact your bsport account manager for any further technical support
