Integrate Kisi with ABC Ignite

ABC Ignite, part of the ABC Fitness Solutions suite, is a powerful member management platform for gyms and fitness clubs. It helps manage memberships, check-ins, billing, services, and more.

Our integration allows ABC Ignite clubs to synchronize member access automatically with their Kisi-controlled doors, ensuring secure, real-time access control that reflects membership status and access entitlements.

Prerequisites​

  1. Kisi organization administrator rights
  2. ABC Ignite admin rights
  3. Club ID in ABC Ignite
  4. A signed Client Data Release Authorization Form (required for ABC to enable integration)

To activate the integration, the club admin must email apiactivation@abcfitness.com with Club ID, request to enable the Kisi integration, and a completed and signed Client Data Release Authorization Form.

Prerequisites for ABC Ignite members to be imported into Kisi​

To be imported into Kisi, ABC Ignite members must have an active membership (member status is "OK" or "Active").

Set up the ABC Ignite integration​

Only one ABC Ignite integration is allowed per organization. However, you can add multiple configurations within the integration to map several locations (Club IDs) to groups.

  1. Sign in to Kisi.
  2. Open Settings and click on Integrations > Manage Integration > Add Integration.
  3. Define the name of your new ABC Ignite integration.
  4. Open the Type dropdown and select ABC Ignite.
  5. Next, click Add Configuration and enter your Club ID (the club number for your ABC Ignite location).
  6. Select the Kisi Group to which users with active memberships will be imported.
  7. Select a Place to map with this ABC Ignite location for check-in.
  8. Specify ABC Ignite Membership types to sync to the group.
  9. Enable the integration.
  10. Click Add.

Synchronizing ABC Ignite active memberships with Kisi​

Once the integration is set up, it will synchronize users with active memberships to Kisi and maintain consistency. New and terminated memberships will be updated in Kisi in real time, ensuring your data is always accurate.

Once the integration is active, it will automatically grant access to users with active and eligible memberships and revoke access for users whose membership is terminated or suspended.

Matching the following rules of the ABC Ignite access logic requires additional configuration:

  1. Allowed access time (day/time rules). Set up the corresponding schedule on the group you’re matching in the integration.
  2. Assigned services match the door. Create separate groups and assign the corresponding doors for each service.
  3. Gender and age match door restrictions. Configure separate groups without access to restricted doors and map those groups to the separate memberships accordingly.

Sync occurs every 15 minutes. During high-load periods (e.g., billing cycles), it may take up to 30 minutes for updates to appear in Kisi.
