Review reader details

You can conveniently review important hardware identification details on your Kisi Reader's overview page. This provides a quick and easy way to identify the correct device and troubleshoot any potential issues.

1. Sign in to Kisi
2. Click on Hardware in the sidebar and select your place from the top left dropdown.
3. Select the Readers tab
4. Click on the reader for which you want to review details
5. Above the reader illustration, identify your Kisi reader type, e.g. "Kisi Reader Pro 2.1". Depending on your reader type, you have the following information available:

Kisi Reader Pro 2.1

• Device ID
• Token
• Ethernet MAC
• IP Address
• Broadcast IP
• Gateway IP

Kisi Reader Pro 2.0

• Device ID
• Token
• Ethernet MAC
• Wi-Fi MAC
• IP Address
• Broadcast IP
• Gateway IP

Click on any of these values to copy it to the clipboard.

Change reader name

As a Kisi admin, you can anytime change the name of your readers.

1. Click on Hardware in the sidebar and select your place from the top left dropdown.
2. Select the Readers tab
3. Click on the reader you want to rename
4. Under General, click on Name
5. Type in the new name for your reader
6. Click Save

Delete a Kisi Reader from a place

1. Click on Hardware in the sidebar, select your place from the top left dropdown, and select Readers
2. Select the reader you want to delete
3. Click on Delete Reader
4. Click on Delete again to confirm your choice

Once an reader has been deleted from a Kisi place, it can be reassigned to another place if needed.
