Reboot reader

As a Kisi admin, you can reboot your Kisi readers and controllers to resolve issues remotely. To reboot the device, it must be online. The reboot process should only take a few minutes. Depending on your reader version, the reboot will function differently:

• For Kisi Reader Pro 2.1, it will power cycle, meaning it will completely shut down by cutting off its power supply and then turning back on.
• For older versions, it will only restart, rebooting the device without cutting off the power supply.

1. Sign in to Kisi
2. Navigate to the Place where your reader has been assigned
3. Navigate to Hardware in the left-hand menu and select Readers
4. Select the reader that you want to reboot
5. Click on Reboot at the top right corner
