Configure the Kisi Intercom Pro

After mounting the Intercom Pro and connecting it to the internet, the next step is to configure it using the web dashboard.

Add the Kisi Intercom to a place

As a first step, add your Kisi Intercom to the relevant place.

  1. Sign in to Kisi on web
  2. Navigate to your place
  3. Click on Hardware
  4. Select the Intercoms tab
  5. Click on Add intercom
  6. Enter the token and define a name. You can find the token on the back of the intercom.
  7. Click Add

Assign a door to the Kisi Intercom

Once added, assign a door to your Kisi Intercom and configure its settings.

  1. Navigate to your intercoms’ overview page (Place > Hardware > Intercoms)
  2. Select the intercom you want to assign a door to
  3. Under Door, select the door that the intercom is associated with
  4. Turn on the Enable video intercom toggle
  5. Under Call Receiver, choose the user who will be responsible for handling incoming calls via the intercom
  6. Click Save

Once configured, call receivers can receive and initiate intercom calls through both the web app and mobile app. See Intercom calls for setup instructions and requirements.

Assigning multiple call receivers to the Kisi Intercom

The Intercom can be assigned to multiple call receivers.

  1. Navigate to your intercoms’ overview page (Place > Hardware > Intercoms)
  2. Select the intercom you want to assign multiple call receivers to
  3. Under Call Receivers, choose the users who should receive intercom calls

  • When a call receiver answers an intercom call on one phone, all other phones will automatically stop ringing
  • When a call receiver rejects an intercom call, the call will continue to ring on the other call receivers' phones

Adjust the Kisi Intercom speaker volume

  1. Navigate to your intercoms’ overview page (Place > Hardware > Intercoms)
  2. Select the intercom
  3. Under Speaker Volume, use the slider to adjust the Intercom's speaker volume
  4. Click Save

Delete the Kisi Intercom from a place

  1. Navigate to your intercoms’ overview page (Place > Hardware > Intercoms)
  2. Select the intercom you want to delete
  3. Click on Delete Intercom
  4. Click on Delete again to confirm your choice

Once an intercom has been deleted from a Kisi place, it can be reassigned to another place if needed.
