Review reader details

On the reader's overview page, you can conveniently review important hardware identification details such as device ID, token, Ethernet MAC, and Wi-Fi MAC. This provides a quick and easy way to identify the correct device and troubleshoot any potential issues.

1. Navigate to your place
2. On the place dashboard, click on Hardware
3. Select the Readers tab
4. Click on the reader for which you want to review details
5. Under General, review the following identification details:

• Device ID
• Token
• Ethernet MAC
• Wi-Fi MAC

Click on any of these values to copy it to the clipboard.

Change reader name

As a Kisi admin, you can anytime change the name of your readers.

1. Navigate to your place
2. On the place dashboard, click on Hardware
3. Select the Readers tab
4. Click on the reader you want to rename
5. Under General, click on Name
6. Type in the new name for your reader
7. Click Save
