Assign controller to place

Once your place is created, the next step is to assign a dedicated controller to it.

For security reasons, you can only assign hardware that is not yet assigned to a place.

1. Sign in to Kisi
2. Click on Hardware
3. In the top left, select the place where you want to assign a controller
4. Select the Controllers tab, and click on Add Controller
5. Under Token, enter the token printed on your Kisi Controller
6. Under Name, define a name that will help you identify this specific controller
7. Click on Add

Deassign controllers

1. Sign in to Kisi
2. Click on Hardware
3. In the top left, select the place where you have your controller assigned
4. Select the Controllers tab
5. Click on the controller that you wish to deassign
6. Click on Delete controller in the top right corner
7. If you are planning to reassign this controller, click on Copy token to save the device token
8. Click Delete

After deletion, you will receive an email notification confirming that the corresponding Kisi controller has been deassigned.
