Host Notifications in Slack
You can connect Kisi's Visitor Management with Slack to receive real-time notifications when a visitor completes self check-in.
Create a Slack App with Incoming Webhooks
- Go to the Slack API site: https://api.slack.com/apps
- Click Create New App.
- Select From Scratch.
- Name your app (e.g., "Kisi Visitors") and choose the workspace where you want to install it.
- Click Create App.
- In the left-hand menu, under Features, select Incoming Webhooks.
- Enable Incoming Webhooks by toggling the switch.
- Scroll down and click Add New Webhook to Workspace.
- Choose the Slack channel where you want to receive notifications.
- Click Allow to grant permissions.
- Copy the generated Webhook URL.
Connect Slack to Kisi Self-Check-In Kiosk
- Log in to the Kisi web dashboard as an org admin or owner.
- Navigate to the Visitor Management app.
- Click Self-Check-In.
- Select the location you want to receive notifications for and click Settings.
- Paste the Webhook URL from Slack into the designated field.
- Click Save.

Repeat this process for additional locations. You can:
- Use the same Webhook URL to send all notifications to a single Slack channel.
- Create separate Webhook URLs for each location to send notifications to different channels.
Once set up, whenever a visitor completes self check-in at a selected location, Kisi will automatically send a message with visit details to the configured Slack channel.
