Enable authentication with password

This feature is only available for Kisi organizations with single sign-on (SSO). Please contact Kisi Support to learn more and upgrade your account.
If enabled, the user will be able to log in with email and password. If the user is in the organizations' IdP directory, an SSO login will also be available.

For existing users
- Sign in to Kisi
- On your organization dashboard, click on Users and select the user profile
- Under Permissions, enable Authenticate with Password
- Click Save
For new users
- Sign in to Kisi
- On your organization dashboard, click on Users > Add Users
- Enter a valid email address. Optionally, you can enter the user's name
- Click on Add another to add further users
- Enable Authenticate with Password
- Click Add

This feature is currently only available on Android devices.
For existing users
- Sign in to Kisi on mobile
- Tap on the Home icon to open the admin dashboard
- Tap on Manage existing users
- Search for the user for whom you want to enable authentication with a password
- Once you've found the user, tap on their name
- Switch on the toggle for Authenticate with Password
For new users
- Sign in to Kisi on mobile
- Tap the Home icon to open the admin dashboard
- Tap on Add new users
- Enter a valid email address and tap Add recipient. Repeat this step to add more users.
- Tap on Add to group and search for a group. Once detected, tap on its name
- If you want the access rights to never expire, switch on the toggle for the Never expires setting (enabled by default)
- If you want to set an expiration date for the access rights, disable the Never expires setting and enter the validity period using the Start day/End day fields
- If you want to allow users to authenticate with a password, switch on the toggle for Authenticate with Password
- Tap on Add users
