Use Kisi cards with Allegion wireless locks
Kisi cards are fully compatible with Allegion wireless locks, allowing seamless access control integration. Please note that to use Kisi cards with Allegion wireless locks, organization owners or admins must first transfer the Kisi application key to Allegion.
- Sign in to Kisi
- On your organization dashboard, click on Settings
- Select the Advanced tab
- Enable the toggle for Use Kisi Cards with Allegion Wireless Locks
- Once enabled, an application key will be generated. Copy it and share it with your Allegion representative to receive a private key identifier, following the steps below.
Card and Lock Ordering Process
The steps differ depending on whether you need new wireless locks or new cards for existing locks. Use the tabs below and follow the steps relevant to your situation.
- Ordering configuration cards for existing Allegion locks
- Ordering new Allegion locks
- Ordering new Kisi cards for end users
For existing wireless locks, Allegion will send you configuration cards along with setup instructions. A Kisi administrator on-site will need to configure the existing Allegion locks.
- Get the Kisi Application Key: Fetch the Kisi application key as described above.
- Inform Allegion: Notify Allegion of your intent to transfer your Kisi application key. Kisi Sales can direct you to the appropriate Allegion contact.
- Create an Allegion Account: Set up an account on Allegion’s private key transfer website.
- Schedule a Call: Arrange a call with Allegion to securely transfer the application key.
- Receive CE Number & UID: You’ll receive an email with the subject "Your Private Key Identifier for CE-xxx-xxx-xxxxx", which includes the CE Number and UID.
- Notify Kisi Sales: Inform the Kisi Sales team of the key transfer and provide the CE Number.
- Kisi Creates Cards for Allegion: Kisi will generate 5 Kisi cards based on Allegion-specific requirements and send them to Allegion.
- Allegion Ships the Cards: Once Allegion has configured the cards, they will ship them directly to you. The cards will be labeled with the organization number and CE number.
- Configure your Allegion Locks: Following Allegion's instructions, a Kisi administrator on-site must configure the existing Allegion locks.
For newly ordered wireless locks, Allegion will pre-configure the locks before shipping.

- Communicate Wireless Lock Order: When ordering new wireless locks, always provide the CE Number to Allegion.
- Notify Kisi Sales: Inform the Kisi Sales team of the key transfer and provide the CE Number.
- Kisi Creates Cards for Allegion: Kisi will generate 5 Kisi cards based on Allegion-specific requirements and send them to Allegion.
- Allegion Ships the Locks: Once Allegion has configured the locks, they will ship them directly to you.
When ordering new Kisi cards, specify that they will be used with Allegion wireless locks to ensure proper programming.
- Order Kisi cards for end users: Reach out to Kisi Sales and order organization-specific Kisi cards, using your organization domain.
- Receive the cards from Kisi: Kisi ships the cards to your organization.
When communicating with Allegion, always use the CE number as the reference. When communicating with Kisi, provide the CE number only during the initial contact.
