Enable place-wide lockdown

By enabling a place-wide lockdown, you can prevent users from entering or exiting any Kisi-enabled door in that particular place.

If you don't see the Place Lockdown widget on your place dashboard, you need to add it first. Learn how to customize your place dashboard.

Web

1. Sign in to Kisi
2. Navigate to Place Dashboard
3. Select the place you want to lockdown from the dropdown in the top left corner
4. Scroll down and toggle on Place Lockdown
5. Click Enable

Once enabled, a banner at the top will show up warning that the Place Lockdown feature is active and no one will be able to enter or exit any door.

To disable Place Lockdown, click on the Disable button on the banner or toggle off the Place Lockdown option from the place dashboard.

Mobile

1. Sign in to Kisi on mobile
2. Open the place you want to enable lockdown for
3. Tap the Home icon on the top to open the Admin Dashboard
4. Scroll down and enable Place Lockdown

Once enabled, a banner at the top will show up warning that the Place Lockdown feature is active and no one will be able to enter or exit any door.

To disable Place Lockdown, toggle off the Place Lockdown option from the place dashboard.

Enabling the lockdown feature will override any unlock schedules you may have set.
