Tamper detection

As an admin, you can enable tamper detection on the Controller Pro 2. By configuring an alert policy for the tampered event, you can ensure to receive notifications whenever tampering with the controller is detected.

Please note that setting up tamper detection varies between different controller revisions. Before configuring tamper detection, ensure to check your controller's revision number under Controller details.

Controller Pro 2 - revision numbers under 641xxxxxx

For Controller Pro 2 revision numbers under 641xxxxxx, only the input labeled Tamper can be utilized for tamper detection.

1. Ensure that the controller's Tamper input is wired for tamper detection
2. Enable the Tamper Detection permission under controller permissions

Controller Pro 2 - revision number 641 and above

Starting from Controller Pro 2 revision 641xxxxxx, any input can be utilized for tamper detection. After wiring, configure the input as Tamper Detection under the controller configurations, as detailed below.

Configure tamper detection

1. Sign in to Kisi
2. Navigate to the Place where your Controller Pro 2 has been assigned
3. Navigate to Hardware in the left-hand menu and select Controllers
4. Select the Controller Pro 2 that you want to configure for tamper detection
5. Scroll down to Inputs
6. Choose an input that hasn't been assigned to any hardware
7. Under Type, select Tamper Detection
8. Toggle the switch to enable it
9. Click Save

In this scenario, no additional permissions need to be enabled.
