Badge Printing

Kisi's Badge Printer is designed to streamline the creation of professional badges for employees and visitors. It allows you to easily design and print customizable badges, featuring your company logo and user titles. Whether for daily use or special events, with the Badge Printer, admins can ensure their identification process is both efficient and polished.

Set up the Badge Printer

  1. Sign in to Kisi
  2. Open the Settings and click on Integrations
  3. Click on Add integration
  4. Provide a name for your integration and select Badge Printer from the dropdown
  5. Click on Add

Create a badge

  1. Under Search user select the user for whom you would like to create a badge. Note: the user must have an image set in Kisi, as this will be added to the badge.
  2. Under Details, enter the title of the user, e.g., "Visitor"
  3. To upload a logo, click on Upload and select your company logo
  4. Click Save
  5. Click Print. This will generate and download your user badge as a PDF. You can print this on your physical badges.

Whenever you need to create new badges, simply navigate to Settings > Integrations, click on the Badge Printer integration that has already been added, and then click on Configure Integration.

Common questions

Does Kisi provide a list of compatible printers?

No, we don't provide a specific list because the Badge Printer generates PDFs that can be printed with any printer on the market that supports PDF printing.

We only generate a PDF and currently provide a template for the front side only.

Yes, a Terminal Pro is required to read QR codes, but please note that we currently only print profile pictures, not QR codes.
