Members represent people that make use of the Kisi system. They can be created from the Members tab in the admin dashboard, or when added to a place or group. The only requirement needed is a valid email address. When members are created, Kisi also creates a user profile based on that email address. Members can be added to as many places as necessary.
To add a member, you can make a call to the API:
For more on how to add new users, check the adding users guide.
Place admins can add and delete members. Group or team admins can make these changes within the group or team. Kisi members can be added to groups, assigned cards and assigned shares. If a member is deleted from a place, the User Profile associated with that member will not be deleted. To completely delete a User Profile it is necessary to reach out to Kisi Support.
Members can be monitored through the dashboard. Admins can obtain reports about their last access from the Member Exports tab.
There are three types of members in Kisi: Basic, Manager and Administrator. Depending on the type of user, access permissions will differ as specified in the table:
|Permissions/Type of Member||Basic||Manager||Administrator|
