Integrate Gymdesk with Kisi

With the Gymdesk integration you can keep track of and control members' access to your gym, and have it updated automatically with their membership status.

Prerequisites

  • Kisi organization administrator rights
  • Gymdesk account

Generate a Kisi API key

You need to have organization administrator or organization owner rights to create an API key. We recommend creating API keys from the organization owner's account, to avoid the API key becoming invalid when an organization admin loses their admin rights.

  1. Sign in to Kisi
  2. On the top right corner, click on your name and click on My Account
  3. Next, select the API tab and click on Add API key
  4. Enter your name, your Kisi password, and your verification code and click Add
  5. Copy the API key shown on the screen and click Close

Configure the integration in Gymdesk

  1. Sign in to Gymdesk
  2. Open the Gym menu in the left hand navigation
  3. Click on the Integrations tab
  4. Click on Connect Kisi Account
  5. Enter the Kisi API key you obtained before
  6. Click on Connect account

Manage your Kisi integration in Gymdesk

  1. Once enabled, the Kisi integration shows up under Gym > Integrations
  2. Click on Manage Kisi account
  3. Under Doors, use the toggle to select which doors should be accessable for members with an active membership
  4. To automatically check-in members when they use Kisi, enable the toggle under Track attendance via door opens
  5. To provision access to all your currently active members, click on Add all members to Kisi
  6. To disable the integration, click on Disconnect Kisi
