Send access links

By sending access links you can allow visitors or temporary staff to unlock doors in your place without having to sign up for a Kisi account or download the mobile apps.

  1. Sign in to Kisi
  2. Navigate to Credentials
  3. Select the Access links tab
  4. Click on Send access link
  5. Enter the recipient's name
  6. Under Send link via, select Email
  7. Enter a valid email address
  8. Under Group, select the appropriate group to which the user will be added
  9. Set the access link validity using the Valid from and Valid until fields. To create an access link that is valid immediately and never expires, leave these fields blank.
  10. Click on Send link

Send link via text message​

Currently, only phone numbers from the United States are supported.

  1. Sign in to Kisi
  2. Navigate to Credentials
  3. Select the Access links tab
  4. Click on Send access link
  5. Enter the recipient's name
  6. Under Send link via, select Text message
  7. Under Phone number, enter the phone number where the access link should be sent
  8. Under Group, select the appropriate group to which the user will be added
  9. Set the access link validity using the Valid from and Valid until fields. To create an access link that is valid immediately and never expires, leave these fields blank.
  10. Click on Send link

Once the allocated quota for sending access links via text message is reached, you will not be able to create further access links via text message. If you wish to increase your monthly quota, please contact your service provider or Kisi Support.
