Enable mobile credentials
As an organization administrator, you can enable users to use mobile credentials by setting the correct reader restrictions.
Enable Tap to Unlock with two-factor authentication
- Sign in to Kisi
- Navigate to your place dashboard
- Click on Hardware
- Select the Reader Pro 2 for which you want to activate Tap to Unlock with two-factor authentication
- Scroll down to Permissions
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication
- Click Save

- To ensure the proper functioning of Tap to Unlock, please position your mobile device below the LED circle on the reader.
- Please be aware that even with two-factor authentication enabled, there may be a brief 5-10 second window during which unlocking a reader with a locked phone is still possible after the phone is re-locked due to delays in receiving the state change from the operating system.
Enable Tap in-app
- Sign in to Kisi
- Navigate to your organization dashboard
- Click on Groups
- Select the group for which you want to activate Tap in-app
- Open the Permissions tab
- Enable Allow App Access
- Click Save
Enable MotionSense

The MotionSense functionality cannot be combined with the two-factor authentication restriction.
- Sign in to Kisi
- Navigate to your place dashboard
- Click on Hardware
- Select the Reader Pro 2 for which you want to activate MotionSense
- Enable MotionSense
- Click Save
